Nestled in a picturesque neighborhood of Valparaiso, the guesthouse provides easy access to local restaurants and attractions, enhancing the overall experience for travelers. Our hostess, Marcella, played a key role in our visit. Not only did she arrange a delightful wine tour, but she also offered insightful recommendations for dining and local exploration, making our stay feel personal. The availability of free Wi-Fi was a convenient touch for planning our daily adventures. While the rooms on the lower floor have shared bathrooms down the hallway, the cleanliness and functionality of the facilities mitigated any inconvenience. The communal terrace and garden furniture provided a pleasant area to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Escalera offers a cozy atmosphere and valuable services that may appeal to travelers looking for a comfortable retreat without overspending, especially in such a vibrant city. I would consider revisiting this charming guesthouse in the future.
